“ It is sad that we do frequently take our "go-to" places for granted. Barrio is just such a place. We go there once or twice every month. The servers are like family and always friendly and warm. The menu is not huge but there is something from everyone from the amazing Pulpo Punta Ballena to the consistent and delicious cuts of meat. For octopus lovers, this is really one of the best in the city and always prepared perfectly. As frequently as we have been here, we have never had a meal that did not meet or exceed our expectations and I have been going since I first arrived in Mexico City over 15 years ago. If you are in the south of the city and have a craving for an Uruguayan steak house, look no further. ”
